Disclaimer
Short version: this is a well-researched starting point, not advice, and you should verify anything you are about to act on.
This is not career counselling
Nothing here is professional careers guidance, educational advice, immigration advice, or financial advice. It is a reference written to help you look into things properly. Decisions about your subjects, your degree, your country or your money are yours, and are worth discussing with people who know your actual situation.
Salaries vary, and these are ranges
Every salary here is a range from a stated source in a stated year for a stated country. Real pay depends on your employer, your city, your specialisation, the economy at the moment you graduate, and a large amount of luck.
Some figures are explicitly marked as estimates. Those are reasoned, not measured, and the reasoning is shown when you tap the label. Do not plan around any single number on this site.
Verify licensing yourself, always
This is the one that can actually cost you years. Whether a foreign degree is recognised, whether an exam is required, whether a qualification transfers between countries — these change, and they vary institution by institution rather than country by country.
Before you enrol anywhere on the strength of something you read here, confirm it directly with the relevant licensing body, ministry or professional council. Every career page names the body you need.
Content goes out of date
Each career page shows the date it was last researched. Entry requirements, training lengths and pay scales all drift. An older page is not necessarily wrong, but it is worth checking.
Coverage is incomplete on purpose
Careers appear here only after they have been researched. A career missing from this site is not a career worth less — it is one that has not been written yet. Do not read the absence of something as a judgement about it.
No warranty
The content is provided as-is, with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular decision. It is offered in good faith and researched carefully, and it will still contain mistakes.
The methodology page explains where every category of number comes from and which ones to trust least.
